Taj Mahal :- is the major attraction of people far and near. The best architects and craftsmen from India, Persia, Central Asia, Arabia and Italy were engaged to build this magnificent monument of love which marked the consummation of the Mughal architecture. It is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love. It was built by a Muslim, Emperor Shah Jahan (died 1666 C.E.) in the memory of his dear wife and Queen Mumtaz Mahal at Agra, India. It is an "elegy in marble" or some say an expression of a "dream." It is built entirely of white marble. Its stunning architectural beauty is beyond adequate description, particularly at dawn and sunset. It will definitely give you the pleasure of life.
Agra Fort :- Visit the Agra Fort where you can see the Mughal art and aestheticism mostly the stone carvings. The most remarkable thing about this fort is that it was transformed from a mere military structure into a magnificent complex within a very short period of time. The following buildings within the fort are worth visiting:- Moti Mahal, Diwan-I-Aam, Diwan-I-Khas, Musammam Burj, Khas Mahal, Shish Mahal, Anguri Bagh, Jahangir's Palace etc.
Itmad-ul-Daulah Tomb :- also known as Baby Taj was built by Noor Jahan in the memory of her father. The marble inlay of works will definitely thrills your glance. It stands majestically on the banks of river Yamuna and four successive Mughal Emperors helped in its construction and beautification.
After visiting the Agra Fort and the tomb you will definitely feel that Agra visit is worthy enough as you will get to explore the other masterpieces of Mughal architecture which has less importance. But the refinement of the works wonders your eyes.
